Welcome – and thank you for your interest!
This study is part of a university research project and explores which features influence the preferences of European users when selecting generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Mistral, DeepL Write, DALL·E).
This project is conducted independently and is not affiliated with any company.
The goal is to understand which characteristics matter most to private (non-professional) users in Europe and whether preferences change depending on the specific use case. The results aim to support European developers and providers of generative AI tools in positioning themselves more effectively in the consumer market, especially in light of international competition.
Disclaimer: The mock-ups shown in this survey were created using ChatGPT. They do not represent real or existing EU software. The logo was created using ChatGPT and is not affiliated with any official institution, it’s just meant to make you smile.
What to expect:
The survey takes about 7 minutes.
You’ll answer questions about your prior use of generative AI, your personal attitudes and evaluate short, practical GenAI usage scenarios.
Data protection:
Participation is voluntary and anonymous, and you can stop at any time without giving a reason. No personal data will be collected. Results will be analysed exclusively for scientific purposes and in anonymised form. The survey was created using SoSci Survey and is hosted on a server located in Germany.
